Refund Policy

Overview
My Adventures App uses a credit-based system for story generation. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request them.
Important: Purchases can be made through the web (Stripe) or iOS App Store. Each platform has different refund processes.
Web Purchases (Stripe)
For purchases made on our website via Stripe, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if:
- You have not used more than 10% of the purchased credits
- There was a technical issue preventing credit use
- You were charged incorrectly or multiple times
To request a Stripe refund:
- Email youradventuresp@gmail.com
- Include your account email and purchase date
- Describe the reason for your refund request
Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days and returned to your original payment method.
iOS Purchases (App Store)
For purchases made on iPhone/iPad through the App Store:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your My Adventures App purchase
- Click "Report a Problem"
- Follow Apple's refund request process
Refund decisions for App Store purchases are made by Apple, not My Adventures App.
Credit Auto-Refunds (Technical Issues)
Automatic Refunds
Credits are automatically refunded in the following situations:
- Server error prevents story generation
- AI service timeout or failure
- Database connection issues
- App crashes during scene generation
- Any technical failure on our end
These refunds are processed immediately and require no action from you.
Manual Credit Refund Requests
If you experienced a technical issue but credits were not automatically refunded:

- Include your account email
- Describe the issue
- Note the approximate date/time
We will investigate and process legitimate refunds within 2-3 business days.
When Credits Are NOT Refunded
Content Policy Violations
Credits are NOT refunded when prompts are rejected for violating our content policy, including:
- Violence or disturbing content
- Inappropriate or adult themes
- Hate speech or discrimination
- Explicit or sexual content
Why? Content filtering uses AI services that incur costs, and charging for violations deters inappropriate use.
If you believe your prompt was incorrectly rejected, contact support for review.
User Error or Dissatisfaction
Credits are not refunded for:
- Not liking the story output
- Typos in your prompt
- Changing your mind after generation
- Accidental taps or selections
- Stories you don't want to continue
Successful Generation
If story generation completes successfully (even if you dislike the result), credits are not refunded. The AI performed the requested service.
Refund Process Timeline
- Technical Issues: Automatic refunds are instant. Manual requests processed within 2-3 business days.
- Stripe Refunds: Typically processed within 5-10 business days.
- Apple Refunds: Typically processed within 48 hours, but Apple's timeline may vary.
- Credit Balance: Refunded credits appear in your account immediately after processing.
No Refunds After Account Deletion
Once you request account deletion, all unused credits are forfeited. We cannot refund credits after account deletion is complete.
Fair Use Policy
We reserve the right to:
- Deny refund requests that appear fraudulent
- Suspend accounts that abuse the refund system
- Investigate patterns of repeated refund requests
Credit Expiration
Credits never expire. You don't need to request a refund because of inactivity - your credits will be waiting whenever you're ready to use them.
Partial Refunds
We do not offer partial refunds on credit packs. If you request a refund through Apple or Stripe:
- You may be approved a full refund of the purchase
- All credits from that purchase will be removed from your account
- Any credits already used will be deducted from future purchases if necessary
Disputed Charges
If you see a charge you don't recognize:
- Check your purchase history
- Verify it wasn't a family member's purchase (Family Sharing)
- Contact Apple Support or Stripe if the charge is unauthorized
- Email us at youradventuresp@gmail.com for assistance
Refund Exceptions
In rare cases, we may offer credit refunds or compensation for:
- Extended service outages (24+ hours)
- Major bugs affecting all users
- Policy changes that significantly impact user experience
These decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights. In some jurisdictions, you may have additional rights beyond those described here.
If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may:
- Contact your local consumer protection agency
- Escalate through Apple's dispute resolution
- Seek legal advice
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
